The origin of such a curious name is apparent gazing at this Victorian Era pattern. Originally produced in the 1890's by Datzell, Gilmor & Leighton of Ohio, this pattern was also known as Cannon Ball and Winking Eye. Made in the USA and hand pressed using the original molds.
