How ever did she do it?
If I didn’t have all these “websitey” people around I would naturally take the credit, but there are greater technical powers behind this so I think you’ll be very happy -that I didn’t do it.
We’re bringing back old favorites and introducing some new ones.
My personal favorite making a comeback is the classic checkerboard pattern. These checks are the perfect checks -and you can go way wrong when it comes to checks, but we got you! These are the same checks that were used in roadside diners in the 1930s, the same checks that are in our collection of vintage restaurant-ware, and of course the same checks you will see in some diner scenes in Sex In The City -because who do you think they called to nail it?!
The checkerboard pattern is what I’ve had in my kitchen forever. In fact if my dishes could talk they would say:
“Get me out of here, her cooking sucks!”
yikes!! that’s what happens when dishes hang around forever. (Damn you, great Fishs Eddy quality 😠 !)
This new site is so exciting—it’s like you’re right here with us at Fishs Eddy near Union Square in NYC. But now we’re finally together online.
and this is all so perfect because we have a shared passion for product rooted in the history of American restaurant-ware—dishes that are as substantial as the story they tell.… not to mention being part of a community of people who appreciate the charm and authenticity behind every piece. I’m so happy you’re here!
