Sweetleaf Coffee Roasters is a small NYC-based roaster
Sweetleaf has been doing its thing since 2008. These folks live and breathe coffee—testing, roasting, and tasting like mad scientists (the kind with good hair (shout out to you Rich!) and clipboards). They roast in small batches right here in New York, and they know exactly what they’re doing.
They’re the real deal. We’re just the mugs.
The Nerdy Stuff
Sweetleaf takes coffee seriously. They explore each bean through different roast profiles, cupafter cup, to find the sweet spot between art and science. Some beans shine with buttery, full-bodied notes; others burst with fruit or chocolate.
They use refractometers to measure extraction, digital scales for espresso precision, and sophisticated software to track every roast—so each bag is consistent, balanced, and exceptional.
They go through all that trouble so your morning cup can be simple, delicious, and reliable.
