An American Original
A nod to the golden age of American diners—when counter stools spun, coffee was always hot, and classic restaurant ware became timeless.
Straight from the golden age of American diners
Our classic Greenband pattern is a slice of American diner history! It’s literally the most enduring designs in restaurant china - and anyone who’s ever sat in a diner or luncheonette knows it.
From our Founder
I know it’s hard to believe but the greenband pattern goes back to the early 1800s when American vitrified China manufacturers began producing heavy-gauge commercial dinnerware.
And every American manufacturer made it. The cool thing is that there were slight nuances among all the factories. One factory produced three green lines, another produced a thick line and one thin line.
