Artwork by Grant Shaffer

The Flatiron Building has been stopping New Yorkers in their tracks since long before anyone called the neighborhood NoMad. This mug celebrates one of the city’s most recognizable architectural landmarks in a wonderfully loose black-and-white illustration, surrounded by the traffic, buildings, pedestrians, and slightly surreal energy that make Manhattan Manhattan. Equal parts everyday mug and tiny ode to a very good-looking corner of New York.

Perfect For: Architecture lovers, New Yorkers past and present, desk coffee, and anyone who still looks up when walking through the city.

Pairs Well With: A New York breakfast, the morning paper, and other NYC-inspired Fishs Eddy favorites.

What people are saying

“THIS IS EXACTLY THE KIND OF NEW YORK THING I LIKE: ICONIC, USEFUL, AND NOT TRYING TOO HARD. THE BLACK-AND-WHITE FLATIRON ARTWORK LOOKS EVEN BETTER WITH COFFEE IN IT.”

— Sophie M.

“I LOVE THAT THE DRAWING FEELS LIKE AN OLD NEW YORK SKETCH INSTEAD OF A TOURIST SOUVENIR. IT HAS QUICKLY BECOME THE MUG EVERYONE GRABS FIRST.”

— @23rdstreetcoffee

“THE FLATIRON BUILDING HAS ALWAYS BEEN ONE OF MY FAVORITE NEW YORK LANDMARKS, SO THIS WAS AN EASY YES. IT MAKES MY DESK COFFEE FEEL A LITTLE MORE CIVILIZED.”

— Daniel K.
